When shooting a piece bases on a suburb, event or idea it literally means walking around for hours, days or sometimes week, looking for the people who are going to tell my story. People who get dressed every day in clothes that speak to their own personal style. The more time I spent on projects like this, the more inspired I am to take my own personal style to a more conscious level.
While spending time in Windsor shooting an Autumn street style story for Vogue.com.au I met and shot a selection of amazing individuals, who I think reflect the Windsor aesthetic. But of course a place isn't just about the people, it's also about culture. A culture made up of eating, drinking, shopping, streetscapes, design, art and an overall feeling that identifies that place.
This photo diary is really everything I loved about Windsor. All our favourite hang outs, eats, pit stops and retail therapy and a little of my own personal style.
