MBFWA WRAP UP.
After shooting over 15,000 photos in 6 days it's safe to say I'm happy to be home and camera-less for the weekend. One of my favourite shooting weeks of the year, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia 2016 was certainly a celebration of Australian fashion. Designers such as Toni Maticevski, Georgia Alice, Dion Lee, Kit X, Manning Cartell, MacGraw, Romance Was Born and C/meo Collective hit the runway to showcase their Resort 17 collections, with buyers, editors and influencers all in attendance.
For me, fashion week is a celebration in fashion off the runway as much as on, and a chance for me to indulge my senses in all things personal style.
After putting a bit of thought into my outfit prep in 24 HOURS TO GO AND THE PACKING STARTS NOW and MBFWA: WHAT TO WEAR WITH 3 DAYS TO GO, I am happy to share my look from Monday, the first full day of shows and day 2 of MBFWA. After an exploration in knits and lace and a shopping trip to Westfield Doncaster I settled on a yummy Country Road knit, purchased in an XL and worn backwards, with a cream Zimmermann slip dress, Zara top underneath and gold earrings with black Converse.
As the week progressed not only did I snap a few photos on my Canon, but I also took every opportunity to shoot bits and pieces on my phone. Below is a bit of a behind the scenes look at my week, a wrap up photo diary of outfits, locations and show.
Stay tuned for lots of MBFWA blog posts this week and feel free to ask me any fashion week Q's below. xxx
This is what my week looked like in pictures... plus a few hundred street fashion images still to come. xxx
